White and The Bear is a restaurant for kids and it has opened in Dubai with food and a design meant for them (and their parents). The menu, which is made to order and full of vegetarian and anti-allergenic options, was created in collaboration with the internationally renowned child nutritionist Annabel Karmel, while the interiors were curated by Sneha Divias Atelier, an architecture studio specialized in child-friendly spaces. Healthy food, a safe environment and a productive learning are the three pillars of the project. On the ground floor, the restaurant and the shop blend seamlessly into each other continuing upstairs through a wooden staircase and a black metal arch. Here clients can find a reading room, a space for birthday parties and a nursery. The primary, bright and pop colours that usually distinguish playrooms and children’s spaces, give way to a holistic and minimalist design with neutral tones designed to stimulate the imagination in a natural way, without overwhelming the senses. This also improves the child’s communication, motor and creative skills for a high-quality experience, from food to play.
