EDIT Napoli brings designers to the heart of the Mediterranean

The first edition of the new design fair organised by Emilia Petruccelli and Domitilla Dardi is about to open its doors in Naples.

The design compass points to the south. After the Sicilian Siracusa - which in the last two years has been transformed into a territory of creative exploration by the MADE Labs workshop and lecture programme curated by Studio Formafantasma and Moncada Rangel Architects -, the time has also come for Naples to open its doors to design and the maker movement.

Founded by Emilia Petruccelli and curated by Domitilla Dardi, the new EDIT Napoli fair - whose first edition will take place from 6 to 9 June 2019 - intends to provide a communication and distribution platform for design and high craftsmanship pieces, giving space to emerging and established designers and companies.

Among the others, the fair will feature the works of the Italian duo Flatwig Studio - seen at Alcova during the 2019 Milan Design Week -, which will present a set of glass containers called "Mama Punch" and the interdisciplinary studio BCXSY, based in Amsterdam, which will show a new series of objects developed in collaboration with the Venetian marble company Laboratorio Morseletto; but also the Rome-based Andrea Anastasio and the Venice-based Kanz Architetti.

Finally, the fair will be an opportunity to discover a series of objects produced with the "Made in EDIT" label born from the collaboration between international design studios and local artisans.
