Jacquemus’ 24-hour pop-up store arrives in Milan

After the success of the temporary shop inspired by vending machines in Paris, the French designer is trying the format again in Italy’s fashion capital.  This time tinged with white.

Last December, the French haute couture brand opened a 24-hour pop-up store dedicated to snack vending machines in Paris. Designed by Ubalt Architectes d’intérieur, the space was defined by a neon pink monochrome environment and an exclusive selection of the brand’s products.

But now the experiment is coming to Milan. “It’s not just about buying: it’s also an experience, a concept. The idea is to break the frontiers in the world of luxury. We want you to come in feeling welcome and have a great experience no matter what you do inside, you can also walk by and take a photo”, is how the eagerly awaited shop is presented on Instagram.

More minimal than its predecessor, Simon Porte this time presents a chlorine-white pavilion located inside the baroque courtyard of Palazzo Clerici. In the automated convenience store, customers will be able to purchase the new La Vague bag, and other Jacquemus products made especially in white for the occasion: Le Hoodie Jacquemus, Le Bambino, and Le Bob Gadjo. Inaugurated on 25 February, in the middle of fashion week, the unique shop will then close permanently on 27 February.
