Nature has for many years been the undisputed protagonist in the imagination of artists and designers: chained up in sculptures by French artist Saâdane Afif, subjected to artistic manipulations that make it unrecognisable in images by Michel Huelin, or reproduced with blatantly artificial materials in the design of Gudrun Lilja – Studiobility. Around 100 works inspired by nature are on show in the collective exhibition organised by Chantal Prod’Hom and Magali Moulinier at the Design Museum in Lausanne (until 27 September). E. S.
