Young designers from the IED in Rome animate the Contemporary section of Casaidea with designs created in collaboration with the Dolcefarniente brand.

Brought in by the company from Le Marche in a programme to develop concepts that combine new technologies with the traditional use of rattan, wicker and synthetic resin, the students came up with some surprising pieces.

As well as a video presentation of all the designs made, prototypes are on show of two new models which will go to make up part of the Dolcefarniente collection, Spoonful by Filippo Caputo, that doubles up as both chair and table and Ribbon by Sara Corbo, a modular system that includes side tables, shelves, lamps, magazine racks.
