Id-lab workshop: technology and interactivity

Registration is open for the workshops at the Interaction Design Lab (Id-Lab), the workshop established following the transfer of the Interaction Design Institute from Ivrea to Milan. Attention is focussed on new electronic technology (software and hardware) applied to interactivity and as a useful tool for the product designer, architect and web designer.

Registration is open for the workshops at the Interaction Design Lab (Id-Lab), the workshop established following the transfer of the Interaction Design Institute from Ivrea to Milan. Attention is focussed on new electronic technology (software and hardware) applied to interactivity and as a useful tool for the product designer, architect and web designer.

The first series of workshops is dedicated to tag RFID, radio frequency identification, that enables an environment to be made interactive (14 October, organised by Massimo Branzi); the programming language Processing, used to create images, animations and sounds (21-22 October Walter Aprile) and the prototyping environment, Arduino (27-29 October, Massimo Branzi).

The courses continue in November and December with Videoclips, PureData SW and Hacking Toys. It is possible to register up until the day before the workshop begins.
