On exhibition then the “Fantadesign” of Santachiara, designed and made, as the designer himself highlights, to excite a wide public, “conscious and no longer user, but ‘using’… aware of sustaining an exchange in the market using the object first in emotional terms and only after, practical”.
The gallery in Bolgna has also commissioned Santachiara to design two exclusive new products (a lamp and a table) which are presented in the exhibition and of which it will be the only distributor. The table is in aluminium with holograms of flames (hence the name St Elmo) generated by the reflection in two mirrors one on top of the other set inside the table, which in turn reflect light from a lamp (limited edition of thirty). Cirro is a suspended light – in a limited edition of fifty – that once lit up, moves slowly like a cloud in the sky. Something of an opportunity for lovers of design, as well as collectors.
