Opos at Fabrica: “Design meets fashion”
“Design meets fashion” is the title of a workshop organised by Opos, the design research laboratory created in 1990 by Alberto Zanone, to be held at Fabrica 22 and 24 May 2002. During the workshop designers from Opos and students from Fabrica will get together to explore the possible convergences between the world of design and the world of fashion, interpreting and studying the signs and new ways which bear witness to the coming together of the two.
A conference open to the public will be held at the end of the workshop at the Centro Culturale Candiani in Mestre (near Venice), in the conference hall.
The collaboration with Opos will continue at Fabrica Features in Bologna with an exhibition entitled “Opos in Bologna”, opening on 31 May at 18.00 in which will be presented work produced by a group of designers, including Massimo Varetto, Andrea Maragno, Sonia Tasca and Vanni Bozzato. The exhibition will stay open until 28 June 2002.
