Bucky in Japan

The Japanese tour of the exhibition “Your private Sky” is drawing to a close, dedicated to the remarkable Richard Buckminster Fuller. The exhibition will be on until 6 May 2002 at the Watari Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo.

Over 1200 exhibits - drawings, models, photographs, letters and publications – from the archives of the architect, engineer, inventor, cosmologist and poet have been collected and catalogued in over three years of work by the Museum of Design in Zurich, where the exhibition was first held in 1999, together with the Buckminster Fuller Institute and the Fuller Archive. The exhibition includes the bathroom from the Dymaxion house and furniture from the Ford Rotunda Dome.
