Design competition: eyewear for the future
Eyewear – from sunglasses to spectacles – is the theme of an international design competition set by French company Lunetiers du Jura with the support of the ICSID, open to students and designers under 35. The awards ceremony (with five prizes for each category) will take place during the Salon International de la Lunetterie (SILMO, International Eyewear Show) which will be held in Paris from the 19 to 22 October 2002. President of the jury is designer Marc Sadler. Registration must be carried out by 30 January 2002 and work should be submitted by 20 March 2002.
