The Armory Show in New York is back. The news about the 2020 edition

The fair dedicated to 20th and 21st century art comes back in New York with a selection of 183 international galleries and several sections dedicated to historized or emerging artists.

The Armory Show is about to open at Piers 90 and 94 Manhattan, with 183 galleries from 32 countries. Among great returns (such as Victoria Miro and Richard Saltoun from London, Galerie templon from Paris or 303 Gallery from New York) there are also 33 new entries, including Carbon 12 from Dubai or Yavuz Gallery from Singapore.

The fair is divided into special projects and curated sections: Perspectives, organized for the first time, presents a series of projects evoking the first years of the fair, comparing historicized and emerging artists. Focus: Another time, another place wonders what are the possible narrations on the present once the history is constantly accelerating. Platform, finally, offers a showcase of site-specific and large-scale installations.

The week-long programme includes Armory Arts Week, with special events organised in New York’s most important museums and cultural centers.
