At the Macro in Rome (from May 30 to August 30), the German artist reconstructs a number of rooms from his family home that has been the obsessive object of his artistic investigation for over twenty years.

"Making is the highest form of thinking”, claims Schneider. Perhaps for this reason, by building walls and corridors, blocking up existing windows, digging tunnels and creating new spaces inside the rooms themselves, while still an adolescent he began to change the house where he spent his childhood with his parents and brother.
