In the Corte Maggiore of Palazzo
Ducale in Genoa, Tomas Saraceno has
set up the installation Biosphere MW 32,
a piece that continues his investigation
on the destiny of the planet and the
socio-political role of science in the face
of the environmental emergencies that
characterise our times.
Far from being a playful, hedonistic
vision, his art presents concrete themes
and objects in a synthesis of awareness
and reflection, also supported by
science but always fused in magic
mysticism. The exhibition is showing at
the Pinksummer Gallery in Genoa until
December 7. Silvia Monaco
