The relationship between art, politics and society is the subject of an exhibition on show at the Generali Foundation as a way of presenting to the public its art collection. It also shows how this topic, dear to the artists of the 1960s and 70s, is also well established in the work of younger generations. Such as Maria Eichhorn who, invited by the foundation to decorate the Berlin headquarters, asked all the employees to fill in a questionnaire on free time and work. Or Adrian Piper who in his almost exclusively textual work reflects on racism and xenophobia. E.S.
