Giancarlo De Carlo, ‘outsider’ architect and engineer and one of the major protagonists in Italian and international architecture, tells his story in the form of an exhibition in Rome; drawings and documents from his archives will be on show alongside photographs, models, books, personal thoughts and writings. In the exhibition, curated by Margherita Guccione, a look at more recent projects such as the scheme for rebuilding an area in the centre of Beirut, presented for the first time in the form of a video.
