Rome: work due to start in March on Zaha Hadid’s centre

Next spring, in March, during a week dedicated to culture, the minister for cultural heritage will be giving the go ahead for building work for the new Centre for Contemporary Arts in Rome, designed by Zaha Hadid. This announcement was made by Pio Baldi, general director of DARC (Dipartimento per l’arte e l’architettura contemporanee del ministero) at the exhibition on Francis Alys and Giuseppe Caccavale being held at the museim.

Baldi also announced plans to hold an exhibition of the Centre’s collection to coincide with the start of the building work.
