Competition: emerging architecture
The city of Chicago, Knoll International and the Chicago Architecture Club are launching an ideas competition entitled “Emerging Visions Competition”. The intention is to gather together, award prizes to and develop architectural designs by young and unknown talents. The competition – which is committed to promoting significant architectural endeavors by young architects, new practices, educators and students – accepts designs which are already realised as well as theories which explore and analyse the issues related to this area of building.
The competition is open to architects under 40 and the official language is English. Deadline for registration and submission of work is 3 February 2002.
