The first exhibition, curated by Francesco Tentori and Marco Pogacnik, is dedicated to Giuseppe Samonà – one of the protagonists of the institute, of which he was head for almost thirty years from 1943 to 1972 and one of the masters of twentieth century architecture in Italy – and his son Alberto. As a result of the re-cataloguing of material donated by the heirs to the Archivio Progetti, the Cotonificio at Santa Marte will be showing until the end of July a selection of the most important projects of the Samonàs, such as the Camera dei Deputati, the competition for the University of Calabria, the project for the Venice headquarters of Inail and the Banca d’Italia in Padova.
