London: Peter Märkli from 1982 to today

The work of Peter Märkli (born in Zurich in 1953), including photos, drawings, sketches and models, is on display at the Architectural Association of London (until March 22, 2002). The exhibition – which “steals” its title from the recently published compendium-volume “Approximations” (MIT Press, edited by Mohsen Mostafavi) – gathers designs and creations by the Swiss architect from 1982 to today.

Among his most noted works, the gallery “La Congiunta” at Giornico in Canton Ticino, which has become the home of Hans Josephson’s sculpture. Also scheduled, for Friday, March 1, a conference by Märkli entitled “Small houses in concrete”.
