University schools of architecture, urban design and landscaping from all over the world are invited to take part in the competition. How? By selecting and sending the best graduation projects completed by their students (dating from June 2000 onwards).
Fifty of these projects will then be selected by the jury for an exhibition running from 9 June to 29 July, at the Van Nelle Factory in Rotterdam and will also be published in a book. The exhibition begins earlier on line and offers a look at those taking part. From 15 January (until 15 April) it will be possible to submit single projects by inserting them directly into the site. The deadline for presenting projects is 15 April 2001.
Archiprix International is born out of the success of the now twenty year old Archiprix Netherland, organised by the Archiprix Foundation (www.archined.nl/archiprix).
To coincide with the prize giving (4 July 2001), a five day workshop will take place and a conference (4-5 July) open to those who have taken part in the competition.
