Neolith, the global leader in sintered stone, presented its 345-pages trend book for 2024 at the Palacio Neptuno in Madrid: Inspiring Living For Tomorrow. Lifestyle Trends 2024 by Neolith investigates changes in society, environmental sustainability and new ways of inhabiting spaces, identifying the main directions the design world is looking at.  People-centred urbanism, well-being and a return to nature are the themes at the centre of architecture, interior design, fashion and the design industry. The book identifies and analyses the new international trends in design and art, highlighting the needs of consumers and professionals.  Three main macro-trends are highlighted in the book: Urbanism with an Autonomous Spirit, which allows autonomy and sustainability, multifunctional spaces, cities with micro-living, modularity and polyvalence to ensure that users can adapt environments to their needs. At the core of this first direction is green architecture, based on bioclimatic and self-sufficiency criteria.  Well-being, on the other hand, is at the heart of public and private spaces: self-care and relaxation must be taken into account through concepts like restorative design, a holistic approach or regenerative missions. Nature and natural balance are interpreted as the third macro-trend, aiming at sustainability and environmental protection through materials and innovation.  Design professionals Gudy Herder and Enric Pastor, interior designer Patricia Bustos, artist Rafafans and design studio Naifactory collaborated in the development of this first Neolith report.
