RX0 II is Sony's new premium ultra-compact action camera

Size, weight and looks are the same as the predecessor, but the new RX0 gets a tilt-screen and the ability to shoot videos in 4K 30p resolution.

Sony has updated its ultra-compact cameras lineup with the new RX0 II. The new device comes in roughly the same size as its predecessor, the RX0, but it packs some interesting upgrades to the components under the hood.
The sensor is now a 15.3-megapixel Exmor RSTM CMOS and a BIONZ XTM image processing engine. It’s capable of shooting videos in 4k30 internally, whereas with the previous model could do that only through HDMI-out. The fixed lens is a ZEISS Tessar T 24mm F4.0 fixed with a minimum focusing distance of 20cm.
The camera weights only 132g and can easily fit into any pocket. It’s also waterproof down to 10m deep, crushproof up to 199.6kg, and shockproof for drops up to 2m.
Last but not least, the 1,5” screen in the back can now be tilted, making the camera easier to use for selfie-videos or vlogging. Sony hasn’t announced an official price yet, but the company said availability will start in late April or May.
