The shades of glass by Vetreria Vistosi

The Venetian company, specializing in blown glass, has worked on the re-edition of several collections, expanding the choice of available finishes.

Vetreria Vistosi presented the re-edition of the Futura collection, designed by Hangar Design Group in 2015. The lamps are hand blown in a single piece and featuring an elegant combination with a metal band. The glass processing gives it an changing effect: transparent at the top, satin-finished at the bottom.

There are different typologies available: ceiling, wall, table, floor and suspension. There are also numerous possibilities of colouring the glass and the metal strip, now also available in copper. Despite their sophisticated design, the lamps are designed to meet the real needs of brightness and have a strong luminous impact.

Another lamp produced by Vetreria Vistosi and designed by Favaretto&Partners won the German Design Award 2019. As for the Future collection, Sata is designed to meet both aesthetic and functional needs. The latter combines wood and blown glass, which together create an unusual combination of warm and cold elements.

The designers said: “Sata is a product developed for Vetreria Vistosi through which we have been able to experience how stimulating it is to work and design for a company with such an important know-how on the material. Sata is a lamp with a clean, simple, rigorous shape, which adapts well to classic and contemporary interiors”.
