Footwear designed to survive Buran

Vibram Arctic Grip rubber soles combine technology and design thanks to its anti-slip solutions that perform on icy and wet surfaces.

Vibram collaborated with a number of brands such as Nitro, Ugg, Scarpa and The Original Muck Boot (to name a few) to design a collection of footwear that has a common denominator: the soles Arctic Grip. The collection offers a wide range of shoes that adapts to different conditions, from mountain to city walks in extreme conditions, like the ones seen these days in Europe with Siberian wind Buran.

The company is named after its founder, Vitale Bramani, who invented the Carrarmato sole back in 1937. His invention accompanied a group of appinists who climbed the K2 back in those days. Since then, Vibram has specialized in the production of technologically-advanced all-rubber soles. Among its latest products, the Vibram Arctic Grip sole is specifically designed for icy and wet surfaces, even in conditions of extremely low temperatures.
