“Postcards of Lights” is a photo project by Gianluca Vassallo for Foscarini. In describing some of the most iconic models of the company from Veneto, he arranges these objects along the streets of great metropolises while photographing them as never before. The fourth stop on this photography tour by Gianluca Vassallo for Foscarini is Shanghai, during the Furniture Fair hosted in this period in this large Chinese city. “A postcard bearing witness to the joy of having been present, on the earth, of having been in our hearts.” After Stockholm, Milan and New York, the artist’s lens now reaches Shanghai and his postcards portray the Chinese metropolis as a backdrop to the Furniture Fair.
