Ferrari has revived the iconic Testarossa name with the new 849 Testarossa, a plug-in hybrid berlinetta that succeeds the SF90 Stradale. The Ferrari 849 Testarossa is shaped by sharp contrasts, with lines that draw from the wedge-shaped geometry of the 80s, paired with Ferrari’s more contemporary design choices. The front is dominated by a full-width dark bar linking the headlights, a move that echoes recent Ferrari show cars like the 12Cilindri and F80, while the lower bumper features pronounced angles instead of smooth curves. These elements give the new Testarossa a streamlined silhouette, balancing heritage with aerodynamic function. Under the body sits a reworked twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine plus three electric motors (two up front, one integrated at the rear). Together they produce about 1,036 horsepower, although the pure electric range is intended mainly for quiet urban driving. The 849 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in roughly 2.3 seconds, while the top speed exceeds 330 km/h. The 849 Testarossa will be offered both as a coupe and a Spider (hard-top convertible). Pricing in Europe starts around €460,000 for the coupe, rising to about €500,000 for the Spider. Deliveries are set to begin in mid to late 2026.
