Two Maserati models now available with David Beckham’s customization

The former footballer has partnered with the Italian brand to promote the new Fuoriserie Essentials, a collection of car customizations curated by “selected tastemakers.”

Maserati and David Beckham partnered to launch the Italian brand’s first Fuoriserie Essentials, a collection of car configurations created by “tastemakers and friends of the Trident.” The goal, says Maserati, is to show the potential of the brand’s customization options to car enthusiasts who want to express their bespoke take on their next Italian supercar.

For the collection, Beckham picked two inspirations from Maserati’s long history. The first one was the 1967 Maserati Ghibli Coupé, which inspired a configuration where the “Night Interaction” blue of the exteriors meets a refined leather interior with a tan finish.
The second configuration draws from the 1986 Maserati Quattroporte Royale, a fuoriserie produced in 51 units. The customization matches the Royal Green exterior paint with warm brown upholstery for the seats and interiors, with a pairing that reminds of British elegance. Beckham envisioned the configurations as an extension of his Savile Row sartorial wardrobe.

“Fuoriserie means “custom-built” in Italian, and our Trident’s customization program is conceived to create singular experiences for our clients,” said Klaus Busse, Head of Design of Maserati. “Our wish here is for them to express their personality and passion by creating their very own Maserati. Just like David, everyone can choose from a wide range of personalization features from our Fuoriserie Corse collection, inspired by Maserati’s glorious racing heritage”.

Beckham’s customizations are available on two Maserati models, the MC20 super sports car and the Grecale SUV. Both cars also come with an exclusive metal plate installed in the central tunnel between the front and rear seats to celebrate the partnership.
