Wacom's new Cintiq Pro 27 is every digital designer's dream. Compact yet powerful, the new drawing tablet sports an all-new 26.9-inch display and 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the new multi-touch screen can serve as a reference monitor. With the previous version of the Cintiq Pro family, such as the Cintiq Pro 24, designers and creatives who needed strict color accuracy had to use an external calibrated reference display. With the new Cintiq, they can do everything with one device, thanks to a 10-bit 4K Panel capable of reproducing 99% of the Adobe RGB color space and 98% of the CDI-P3 gamut. The display on the Cintiq 27 Pro is even validated for Pantone SkinTone, which means it meets the standard to correctly display the full range of human skin tones as defined by Pantone.
The new Cintiq comes equipped with a new Wacom Pro Pen 3, whose weight, button layout, and thickness can be adjusted by the user. Thanks to the monitor's high refresh rate, the new Pen is capable of tracking way faster than what was possible on previous models. Based on electromagnetic technology, the new stylus offers 8192 levels of pressure and comes with ten nibs—five standard ones and five with a felt tip. Despite the larger display, the Cintiq Pro 27 is more compact than the Pro 24 version, primarily thanks to its thinner bezels. It can be mounted on a standard VESA mount or on Wacom's new Ergo Stand, which supports 20 degrees screen rotations, plus tilting.
Cintiq Pro 27 is available from Wacom's e-store for €3,849.99, while the new Ergo stand is sold as a separate accessory for €599.99.
