Bottega Veneta has unveiled its new headquarters

Studio Asti Architetti is refurbishing in Milan Palazzo San Fedele, which will host the Italian fashion brand.

Matthieu Blazy, the new creative director of Bottega Veneta, has showcased his Fall-Winter 2022 collection during the Milano Fashion Week inside Palazzo San Fedele, a late 19th-century building in the heart of the city, that’s currently undergoing an extensive refurbishment by Studio Asti Architetti to become fashion house’s new headquarters.

For the fashion show, the façade of the building – still under construction – turned green, thanks to the panels in ‘parakeet’ colour which closed the openings. The interior space – stripped and pared back, because of the construction works – appeared to be characterized by a raw aesthetic, where the signs of the past have been left exposed and have been arranged a symmetrical array of stools – made from crushed metal and topped with the brand’s clutch leather pillow bags, which guests were welcome to take home. The lighting was entrusted to a system of overhead spotlights, rigged up on scaffolding in between the building’s ancient columns.
