The dressing rooms of theatres tell a story that precedes the performance. They are places hidden from the public, fascinating little worlds where artists prepare for the stage. In the “Vietato l'ingresso” project they become protagonists and open up to the world of design with an open call involving seventeen design studios to transform them. It happens at the Arcimboldi Theatre thanks to an idea of Giulia Pellegrino, curator and transversal figure in the world of design and architecture. For a period of three months, starting on June 7th, each studio will adopt one of the seventeen dressing rooms, changing its features and setting it up according to its own style. At the Fuorisalone in September, the public will be able to visit them and declare its favorite. The winning studio will be commissioned to renovate the theatre's main dressing room, the Camerino Muti, a 40 square metre area dedicated to the famous orchestral conductor and that over the years has hosted some of the most important figures in the world of theatre.
