Curtiss Motorcycles, the Alabama-manufacturer of custom electric motorcycles such as the Zeus Bobber concept, which we previously featured here on Domus, has come up with a new exclusive model unapologetically called "the One". It's a masterpiece of machinery, featuring a not-for-everyone design that mixes traditional American chopper aesthetics with steampunk accent for a futuristic yet vintage look.  The One features an ultra-lightweight and compact axial flux motor solution packaged via Curtiss centred power axis design and has a peak power of 127HP (87HP of steady power), with the option of adjusting the tuning via cloud-based software updates.  Curtiss motorcycle will start production of The One this summer, with an expected delivery of the first models later this year. The first 15 units of the 'Glenn H. Curtiss founder's edition' model will sell for $115,000, while from the end of 2021, 100 hundred customers per year will be able to order the "regular" version of The One for $81,000.
