Aladina is the new moka designed by Cino Zucchi for Lavazza

Forty years after the launch of the legendary Carmencita, Lavazza is back with a new moka, this time designed by the Milanese architect.

Forty years after the birth of Carmencita, Lavazza renews the ritual of coffee with Aladina, the new moka created by architect Cino Zucchi, which will be presented during the Design Week in Milan, at the flagship store in Piazza San Fedele, together with a coffee mixture created for the occasion.

The look of Aladina is inspired by the progressive metamorphosis of the iconic Lavazza cup. Its characteristic shape, a truncated cone, has been divided into an hourglass profile with a double ring handle, to which have been added the softer and more elusive lines of the elongated oval of the lid and its curled handle.

Made of stainless steel, Aladina can fill up to 4 cups, and its new patented filter promotes a more balanced extraction of coffee. A contemporary object, which is confronted with the difficult task of mixing tradition and innovation in a pop way, with colorful and playful packaging, which speaks a minimal and contemporary language, without sacrificing joy.
