For the opening of the Hermès boutique in Shinjyuku Takashimaya, Tokyo, the French artist Isabelle Daëron collaborated once again with the Maison, with a colorful window display, made of paper and exotic figures. Mascarade represented the celebration at night with strange animals and Hermès products that dance around the fire in a festive atmosphere. The masks and gradient background were made of hundreds of coloured paper rolls that emphasized the richness of the objects on display. The ephemeral installation stayed on view for two months.
