The only elements that were kept from the original ‘boat’-style interiors are the wooden ceiling and beams – that have been coated in white paint – and the flooring, coated in a darker neutral paint. To give some warmth to the space, a selection of oak furniture wooden elements stand out from the monochrome interior, including the “Dry Ager”, a special cabinet where meat matures. The whole area is lit up by some touches of gold given by the ceiling lamp-shades, while the front wall is decorated with original graphics by Jakub Šejvl that refer to the origins of steaks.
