Taking part in Milan Design Week for the fourth time, Atelier Clerici (housed in the palazzo of the same name), has established itself as the most experimental show at the Fuorisalone, with discussions and activities taking place regarding the future of contemporary living, part of a packed programme of talks organised in the courtyard of the Open Design School Matera.

This year, Atelier Clerici also hosts students from the Design Academy Eindhoven (traditionally in Ventura Lambrate) who welcome visitors into the first room on the upper floor with a fully active television studio, creating an alternative reality "for a world filled with fake design projects". The exhibition curated by Jan Boelen (head of the department of Social Design) analyses the role and symbiotic relationship between design and the media today.

Other exhibitions include the “Talisman” collective where 46 designers have each created a lucky charm (sold at auction on 8 April) in response to the invitation of Barbara Brondi & Marco Rainò.
