The first set of works produced consisted of a variety of storage units made from gum-paper wrapped structures with bronze frames. The frames were assembled by binding together bamboo rods and wound string, and then submerged into solid bronze using the traditional lost-wax technique. The collection evolution landed into a series of pieces that harness the values of traditional, timeless disciplines, while challenging our perception of process. Recent works are now cast entirely in bronze and finished with polished natural bronze and gun-black patina.
