The Festival is involved within the Urban Layers – New Paths in Photography project and it is co-funded by the European Programme “Creative Europe”. The aim of this cooperation project is to create a network of public and private cultural operators, who rely on the value of photography that plays a pivotal role in spreading what the artist wants to capture, the bounds around him and his ability to go beyond them, working, in other words, for cultural accessibility.

Bitume photofest, designed and created by Positivo Diretto, will feature outdoor exhibitions of large format prints throughout the historic center of Lecce. Manifatture Knos, LO.FT- locali fotografici, Bar Sette di Sette and Whitephotogallery will host the indoor exhibitions.
