Valcucine at Imm Cologne

On the occasion of Imm Cologne 2016 Valcucine presented Forma Mentis, the last kitchen designed by Gabriele Centazzo, looking for tactile textures.

Forma Mentis, presented for the first time in Colgne, is a kitchen designed for people who like to experience space in a practical, relaxed and friendly manner.

The new modular kitchen system marks the achievement of an aesthetic thought built with dedication over time, become a mindset (forma mentis) in Valcucine: a design looking for tactile textures, able to give and awaken sensations now forgotten.

The slanting worktop and door with its metal edge protector has arisen out of exacting studies into the juxtaposition of different materials. Angled edges with micro ridges ensure an excellent grip and allow for the easy opening of handle-free doors. The worktops can be configured in various depths and with recess channels in different colours that allow for customisable combinations, while the new wall panels are ideal for creating graphic effects that can create patterns when combined with different doors.
