Eco Front/Hayon

The Swedish design group Front and the Spanish designer Jaime Hayon signed the new wallpaper collection presented by Eco at Maison&Objet.

Swedish brand Eco Wallpaper presented in Paris during Maison&Objet the collection Eco Front/Hayon, created toghether with the Scandinavian design group Front and the Spanish designer Jaime Hayon.

In the first one the group puts their mark on paper for the very first time. The collection features nine different patterns that are both discreet and stand out with a hint of three-dimensionality. “Our vision has been to give white walls structure using shadows and sketched patterns. Today, patterns are okay and different furnishing styles can exist side by side” states Anna Lindgren from Front.

Jaime Hayon puts his design on wallpapers for the very first time creating four different patterns characterized by the fundamentals in his drawings – basic components of dots, lines and circles. “I tried to make the graphic patterns as simple as possible and I focused on the difference wallpapers canmake in a room”, says Hayon. With angles, curves, volumes and lines, he has created patterns with character and discretion that are easily combined with existing interior design details for a harmonious yet exciting result.
