Tsubasa Iwahashi Architect refurbished a beauty salon in Osaka prefecture finding an architectural solution that allows the owner to keep his habit to greet passers.

The project is a renovation of the beauty salon Folm Arts ten years after the opening.

The shape of the building, similar to an house, reflects the image of intimate connection with the town. In the shop front a big windows allows the owner to greet passers, as usual.

Through this shop window the architects created also a connection between the town and the shop.

Design and ceramics renew a shopping center

FMG Fabbrica Marmi and architect Paolo Gianfrancesco, of THG Arkitektar Studio, have designed the restyling of the third floor of Reykjavik's largest shopping center. Ceramic, the central element of the project, covers floors, walls and furniture with versatile solutions and distinctive character.
