An easy chair that can be transformed into a daybed, Pause aims to be a comfortable place to lounge or sleep for any guest that might come around. Designed by Meike Langer, it was presented at IMM Cologne 2012.

The upholstery furniture consists of a wooden back part made of strong ash wood, a metal frame, five big cushions and two small ones. The seat's cushions are filled with two different kinds of foam: rigid and soft, assuring comfortable sitting and furniture stability.

The narrow metal frame holds the cushions together, keeping them in position. The chair transforms easily into a daybed, by lifting the metal frame and extending the cushions to the desired length.
