Orazio Palace, a new hotel in the 4L Collection chain, is located in Rome’s Prati district, near St. Peter’s Basilica and Castel Sant’Angelo. The project by studio Collidanielarchitetto opens up to the city, proposing places for meeting, exchange and conviviality not only for guests: its nine floors include a hall, library, lobby bar, garden and gym, Ozio restaurant and a sky lounge bar on the eighth and top floor.  The hotel – which has 65 rooms and 6 suites – is inspired by the colours of Rome’s twilight: materials and shapes in saturated, bright colours are distributed through open, fluid spaces.  In the double-height lobby, soft colours alternate with orange tones. The regular pattern of the courtyard, where the garden is located, contrasts with the orange steel furnishings; the suites feature Klein blue seating, marble surfaces, and chrome titanium lamps. The restaurant is enclosed by a glass volume with a perimeter terrace on the seventh floor, where bright green sofas and chairs in floral velvet and Vienna straw meet. The sky lounge bar is a glazed open-air space overlooking Rome, with woven rope sofas and metal armchairs with pink accents.
