Adjustable and joint-free, AYNO lamp is available in silk grey

A new colour finish for the fixture designed by Stefan Diez and Lina Fischer for Midgard: suitable for home and office, it will also come in a wall-mounted version.

AYNO lamps, designed by Stefan Diez and Lina Fischer for Midgard, were presented in the Silk grey version during Milan Design Week. The table model and two floor lamps – which will soon be extended to include wall and ceiling versions – were displayed in the Agape12 showroom and concept store in Brera and in the Future Habit(at) exhibition, curated by Archiproducts, in the Tortona area.

The main feature of the lamp is the flexible fibreglass rod without joints, which can be oriented thanks to two continuously sliding adjustment rings and the cable stretched between them covered with fabric (in neon orange and neutral black). The rod can be curved to form an arc and the swivelling shade, made of unbreakable and recyclable polycarbonate, can also be adjusted to the required light beam.

Winner of the German Sustainability Award Design 2021 in the Pioneer category, AYNO uses only three materials – steel, fibreglass and polycarbonate – which are fully recyclable and can be ordered from local markets. It can also be assembled and disassembled without tools, and is maintenance-free.
