As the curator Davide Crippa points out, “the initiative does not concern the creation of yet another district for Milan Design Week, but has a broader and longer-term objective: to relaunch the peripheral areas as a territory of innovative, inclusive and collaborative activities, places in which to experiment with new and different “centralities”.

The district unfolds between Bovisa, Dergano and Lancetti through temporary and permanent installations, exhibitions, urban art interventions, performances and collective events.

The Makers Hub space in via Cosenz 44 hosts the exhibition "Art-72Rooms", the innovative hotel/artistic residence inaugurated in the heart of Shanghai on the occasion of the Shanghai Contemporary Art Fair, which returns to Milan in Bovisa for the during the Fuorisalone.
Ada and Ghigos present "Monumento del Design" (Design Monument), a real space that can be crossed by archetypal form, inside which the nine points of the Manifesto of the Republic can be read. At the FORO Studio, on the other hand, "OM" will be presented, an experiential and immersive setting that reflects on the theme of individuality.
