From product and set design to branding and strategy Stockholm-based Note Design Studio strikes at Stockholm Furniture Fair with a diverse mix of product launches and a major installation for seven different brands.

Together with flooring brand Tarkett, founders Johannes Carlström and Cristiano Pigazzini created Snowtopped, a Nordic winter landscape at Stockholm Under Stjärnorna, a vibrant rooftop located 50 meters above the streets of central Stockholm. The design duo paired the colours and shapes of snow using nothing more than Tarkett’s sustainable vinyl flooring range iQ Granit. With a spectrum of colour from cool white to light grey to create a space “where the versatility and flexibility of the material are accentuated,” tells Charlotte Ackemar, product designer at Note.

Product launches include a Maze, a carpet series for Moooi’s Nordic Collection, an expansion of the sound-absorbing screens for Swedish company Zilenzio with a series of semicircular seating units, a collection of side tables for Ariake Japanese brand, and the fair stand designs for Italian company Magis, Norwegian outdoor furniture brand Vestre and Swedish furniture brand Fogia.
