This is the question asked by Jan van Hoof, a young graduate from Design Academy Eindhoven. His answer, Storyboard, is a space divider made entirely from books cut with method and persistency. The books, without covers and each divided into three equally sized parts, have been glued together and transformed into 30 by 75 centimetre bricks. From a distance it seems to have a uniform surface, but closer inspection reveals the faded pages with fragments of stories and titles of books. When used as a cladding to an existing wall, Storyboard also has the added effect of increasing acoustic insulation.
