An inexhaustible source of inspiration for all the art disciplines and an endless array of forms and colours, Nature is a major starting point for the designer’s work.

The Museum für Gestaltung in Zurich is offering insight into this subject with its Nature Design. From inspiration to innovation exhibition (10 August-2 December), which will show numerous objects and projects from the world of design, as too those of architecture, art, photography and scientific research, that have started from the natural elements and produced concrete and innovative answers to the relationship between Mankind and Nature.

As well as productions by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Zaha Hadid, Herzog & de Meuron, Ross Lovegrove and Wieki Somers, among many others, there will be site-specific installations by the Berlin designer Werner Aisslinger and by the landscape architect, Günther Vogt.Giulia Guzzini
