Driade: a modern family saga

Alessandro Mendini’s homage to the world of Driade is part of an extensive anthological exhibition dedicated to the Italian firm, on show at the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich (until January 28).

The exhibition, designed by the three founders Enrico and Antonia Astori and Adelaide Acerbi (together with Vittorio Locatelli), describes (almost) forty years of activity of this leading international design brand and tells the story of the business success of a family that has defined “a personal and almost aristocratic philosophy of living”.philosophy of living”.
