David Carson: Graphic Design After the End of Print
An exhibition of the work of well known graphic design David Carson is on at the Art Institute of Southern California at Laguna Beach. It features 150 covers created by Carson which are distinguished for the innovative style and the unconventional use of typography, in particular for magazines such as Beach Culture Ray Gun and Transworld Skateboarding. David Carson is currently working on a book of collected writings by Marshall McLuhan and is also art director for a clothing line: Quicksilver.
