Christopher Dresser

"A designer at the court of Queen Victoria" is the subtitle of the show that opened yesterday at the Milan Triennale. Composed of over 500 works (reunited for the first time), the show includes paintings, watercolors, original drawings, lithographs, old books, silverware and ceramics.

In addition to the works designed by Dresser, the selection also includes documentation related to the Crystal Palace and some volumes by Owen Jones, A.C. Pugin and John Ruskin.
The show's installation has been curated by Mario Bellini, the graphics by Italo Lupi.

The show is open to the public from October 30 to March 3, 2002.
